How to Design a Random Number Generator
The way you design a game has to be really different if you're handling things being unbounded I would recommend to anybody who's designing a game to try just as a thought experiment we were doing this over the last summer prototyping a bunch of games and one of the things I did is I made a random number generating class that works on the normal distribution so you can say for example I want a number that is most likely to be between zero and one but might be a billion you know might be negative for billion.
