Do You Feel Dehydrated or Drunk During Performance?
There's lots of subtleties that get missed if you try and give a blanket answer. If we become two % dehydrated, or for some people, that may result in a substantial drop off in performance. But there'd be certain situations where five or six % or even seven % might be acceptableif you started very well prehydrated. And i would argue, if you do the right thing at extreme end, so do the hawaii man triatline and iron man triathlon with a really strategic approach to fluid replacement. That is actually the optimum way to achieve optimum hydration.
