What Would You Tell a Pregnant or Postpartum Client?
The old adage of you're eating for two is very, very outdated. Third trimester is your greatest surplus of calories and it's on average 400 to 500 extra calories a day. Second thing would be helping your clients manage their ever-changing body in a way that really leads with empathy. Watching that scale go up being pregnant was very triggering for me.
