Are You OK With Managed Decline?

I think part of the anger is that you can't have byden just sort of manage us into a old, you know, like national schorosis. I don't think we lose a war with china or something a, but, like, it's possible that happens. And then that creates the political space. You're going to have a conflict between people who are kind of ok with managed decline and people who really want the rebirth and the renewal. In that that's another sort of fissure in the society and another set of political conflicts and potential dangers that we have to face.
