How to Boost Your Motivation

Motivation is not a fixed thing. You are not always motivated to do everything all the time. The concept of motivation being dynamic, going up and down, does not have a long academic tradition. We go through motivation waves. And so you design for your lowest points of motivation in tiny habits. If you want to do 20 push ups, great, you can do that on day one. But you set the bar really, really low. So even on your worst days, you can floss one tooth, you can put on a drop af sun screen,you can do two push ups.
