An, you know, those traits are accelerated a bit when the injured runner comes in and they're willing to put in two hours worth of rehab per day. There.
Speaker 1
That's ighta where am we're a stubborn bunch, but we're also a very modivated bunch as well. And sor ah, it's just trying to to use those personal trits to your vantage, rather than the detriment.
Speaker 2
Ye, and i think thereis probably good, good ways to kind of leverage that personality towards li a make a more sound, or safe, a sustainable approach, where you have this highly motivated person. And usually at that point you kind of, you have to convince them that changing what they're doing is in their best interests. But once you can kind of convince them of that, then, like, the programming becomes quite simple, in my opinion, terms of getting them to adhere to it. So that that's the nice part about it, is sometimes you have to do a little bit of mao d programming. In terms of, just because running as much as you could until you are too tired to run any more, worked well through the first couple of years, doesn't necestarly mean that'sgoing to continue to work for you. So let's look at how we can do that. Or maybe another way to look at it is, just because running this particular set of workouts and structure had you injury free for the first couple of years doesn't mean, that's always going to be the case if you don't also have the foundation with some of those tertiary activities to kind of help keep you strong and resilient overtime.
Speaker 1
P tely grey, i'm just a shade. Like one of the posts that i did a couple weeks ago, actually, i'm review an article that showed if you rated high on this, a personality questioner, this section of a what they called a perfectionistic concerns, like if you're concerned about, maybe, ah, you're not performing to the highest f amount, if you're actually worried that you're not going to reach your p b, or something like that. If you rated high in that question, under that topic, you were 17 times is more likely to get injured then someone who doesn't write hitly in that category. Sai, there is something to say with a link between personality trites and injury.
