Is There a Static Stretch?
I've heard you say that a lot of traditional stretches like static stretches Are actually concentrically orienting some muscles, maybe not all the time, but frequently we see All the time. If I was to try to stretch an eccentrically oriented muscle I wouldn't feel anything until he got to the very end and then the connectitutist would kick in. So what you're getting is you're getting a connected tissue based yielding action in the connective tissues Which is temporary,. which is why if you stretch once and you make any measurable gains, which good luck with that You're not gonna make much.
