How Do We Get Better at Negotiation?
When we're reviewing a negotiation how it went after the fact we always end up pulling out things that we understand or that are obvious to us but it doesn't necessarily mean they're the real things. Most important thing during negotiation is to really pay attention and look at your kind of internal emotional experience. If i'm alarmed and i'm worried and someone says some very banal normal thing i may interpret that as a little bit more intense than it actually was intended to be because my emotional context is really intense so when we do that too much we end up missing a lot of things. We don't often think of the other side of the table so imagine what happened right so i interviewed at a
