Is It a Heristic?
If there's a clear reason to go through the pain, and you think that this person or this team will be in significantly better shaped for having gone through that experience. You can totally grind a gimstone down nothing, but you could end up with a ruby in the process. I want to make things like, let's get continually less hypothetical. And i when i'm talking about those kinds of friction, i want to talk about where it polishes versus where it breaks.
