The Importance of Dialogue in Revolutionary Education

The goal of revolutionary education can't be to deposit pre formulated programs into the people's mind, but rather to work from the objective conditions in which people live and develop an understanding through dialogue. The present situation is the starting point for all revolutionary education: What situation are people living in? This is what we must first consider. Educators must present the objective situation in order to uncover what Freer refers to as the thematic universe - generative themes.
