The Importance of Methodological Rigidity in Athletes

There is not enough evidence to suggest that acute performance or long term adaptations to exercise are influenced by menstrual cycle phase. As coaches, we need to take those findings as kind of okay this is what we can expect for most people. And so I think that when I implement a program for my athlete, and we adjusted along the way and we get that feedback from the client, then we can really tailor the program to the individual.
