How to Measure Your Gut Microbiome

The gut microbiome is the bacteria that live with us in our intestines. The most recent estimate is there's around 38 trillion microbial cells, which is around one to one with human cells. It depends on how you're motive delivery, it depends on if you're breastfed or not, and it depends on antibiotic use by either your mom or by you in the early months of life. In a perfectly healthy state, they help us digest our food and make nutrients and we give them a place to reproduce.
