How to Make a Video Game on a Console

I don't know if someone could sit down and make a video game on a console without avoiding the warranty on the current console in the first place. Even two decades ago, that would have been a team of five people. So you can easily see how it could be a multi-person game even back then. But I think when Nintendo came along with their own drumbeat they've always sort of danced at a tune to an extent which is not good for games.
