Mindfulness Training Can Be So Helpful

Some of us walk around with a lot more vigilance, i imagine, paying attention to one part of our attention system rather than the other. It may be the case that changing how we pay attention may soften the cost of a hyper vigilant mind that we experience. And frankly, for our own well being, it doesn't matter if we don't hapen to be fire fighters or medical professionals. Our attention does matter for our lives. We need our attention to think, we need our n to regulate our emotions and connect socially. When those systems are disrupted things can really fall out of whack.
