The Importance of Feedback
We need feedback from our inner selves to know what it is, our heart's actually saying and what we actually want. If you are constantly unconscious and you're kind of addicted to busyness, then you're just the hamster. We process social shame in the same part of our brain as physical pain. So often people will feel serious back pain or hip pain or stomach pain before they're able to confront their emotional feelings of hurt and shame.
