Aristotle's view effectively separ ates the senses of goodness into a sharp dicodomy. We choose a thing either because it is intrinsically good or because it is instrumentally good, yes? And i'm also reminded of, just like the american pragmatists, they talk about, i think they call it instrumental truth. It becomes really hard to disentangle utility from the pragmatic or instrumental truth, i guess you would say a. So y ill just love to hear your thoughts on that. I respect aristotle and find him important, but i love plato, and so i'm unbiased.
