The Advantage of Flexed Spine in Jujitsu
Olympic sprinters have a lot of lordosis or hollow in their low back. That is such an advantage for sprinting because it turns the pelvis and gives an advantage to the expression of extensor power out the extensor range. But now look at the UFC fighters who can kick you in the head. They have flat backs. And it's such an advantage to flatten the back for jujitsu and for high kicks because the pelvis has already turned that way. So two different bodies. That's why there's so many types of sports. They're all suited for something to excel. I don't know of a metal linebacker who can hit a golf ball 300 yards
