If you can keep this core of having a genuine community and not using the community actively as market i think the difference is, do you make the members feel that they're just a marketing tooll? Yes, it's an effect. And even if the community members are not bynd product, they still transform it into ambassadors. They speak about the product, they share their experience using the product.
