The Importance of Hormone Replacement Therapy in Post-Menopausal Women
Post-menopause of women comprise about two-thirds of Alzheimer's disease patients. Hormone replacement therapy for addressing brain dysfunction in post-menopausal women is going to be very important, says Greg Potter PhD. If we treat early and women have a significant burden of other cardiovascular risk factors, then I think there's a big benefit to be had from bioidentical or other hormone replacement strategies.
