Is There a Positive Vision for the Lower Case De Democracy?

i don't think a unitary executive is immune from status pressures. i'm sympathetic to the idea that, like the democratic project died on day one when we had a hamiltonian coup. The conditions now are really different than they were when roosevelt or lincoln or any other president was near revolution and war. It could be just as possible to build a citizenry that was participatory and that was small, democratic. That's what i want for my own personal life. I dont if thats can work out. But that's what i'm going for.
