The Importance of Eating Breakfast for Basketball Players

A lot of NBA players aren't eating breakfast, so they're kind of fasting the first half of the day. The problem is from a protein standpoint, especially you're playing catch up late in the day and 0.85 grams per pound of bite,. It's quite a bit. For me, I would need 40 grams of protein across, let's see, four meals somewhere around there. If I don't get that for breakfast and I'm trying to play catch up later in the day, for lunch and dinner, I got to stuff myself. And I just get too full to be able to fit it all in.
