Many runners foam roll, but they're still only solving a symptom. They've got to look a little bit deeper because that same person may have a horrible single leg stance on the right and great single leg stances on the left. If you can't work out without hugging your foam roll in the corner for 15 minutes any day all the time, it's not therapeutic. You're becoming addicted to unnecessary soft tissue. So that foam roll should be something you visit periodically. That foam roll may be slowing it down, but it ain't going to stop it.
