The Tree Air Social Stress Test
We did a lot of user testing on the experience itself and how users were perceived a notification, whether they wanted a notification or not. We started the project by exploring the literature and there's a procedure called the Tree Air Social Stress Test which is considered sort of the gold standard for social evaluative stress. And so we decided to use the TSST to induce in a lab environment a stress response. But Sami can talk in more detail about how we actually built and tested the algorithm itself.
