The Attributes of Mental Tough Performers

Mental toughness is a mix of challenge, confidence, control and commitment. It's essentially the extent to which we see opportunities as opposed to threats. Research has broken it down into what we call risk orientation and learning orientation. Risk orientations would be people who are prepared to take a risk. The more confidence i have in my abilities, the more likely i am to think i'm going to succeed. Therefore i'm more likely to taking a risk. To implement this stuff, you don't have to have a phobia of trying new things. You can just embrace challenges and learn from them. And when they'll rush out and do something that doesn't go quite as planned, coaches will
