The American Food Scene During World War II
World War II was a turning point for the American food scene. Spam became popular luncheon meat in the country. People ate a lot of spam, which is canned and doesn't taste very good. Meat consumption didn't decline during world war too but it wasn't the same meat as they were eating before.
