Strength Training and Running Can Increase Bone Formation

The longer you run, the less your tendon capacity improves. So if you were to start getting that plateau and add in some strength training, it increases the synthesis rate of a runner. And so again, running can get you so far to increase your bone density. Strength training can compile on top of that those effects.
