The Importance of Individuality in Marathon Training
"Individuality plays a huge a huge factor in marathon training and I think it even more so than any of the shorter stuff," says Desi. "You have to know yourself as a person and as an athlete and your coach has to know you really well" She adds that there's sure a template that you can go off but you have to be responsive to how long it takes athletes to come off of different types of workouts and adapt to them.
