Anton: I think social media just shines a light on our communities in a whole different way that didn't exist when I was young. People don't post their medical errors on Facebook and this sets up a real disconnect between this external world we're showing to people through our internet lives and our actual honest personal lives. We spend a lot of time and energy and emergency medicine talking about how to be a great doc discussing the latest evidence but we don't really talk about our failures very often, Anton says.
