How Do You Decide When to Hire for Experience?
At the beginning of his time at stripe, i feel like the first couple of hires i had a were not necessarily like traditional a hires. It wasn't until my third or fourth hire where i found someone with previous partnership's experience. And by that time, we had made enough progress as a team, and it was clear that we were doing things that were really good for the business. So it took a while for me personally to like find my stride and how i could convince someone that i was like a great people leader.
