The Role of Antiplatelet Agents in Neurology
Aspirin is a permanent irreversible Cox or cyclooxygenes inhibitor. The other main antiplatelet agents that we commonly see are plavics or clopidogrel and bryllinta, which is a tycagrallure. Another antiplatelet agent I think is more commonly seen in the peripheral vascular disease community than it is neurology. It's psilosstazol or phlettol, for those of you who prefer brand names.
