I wonder too if the traumas were more of the things themselves like his dad dying or is more traumatic is the impact that had on his life. I don't know if I'd go to the big tea, but it's for sure a small tea, like an identity shock and a masculinity threat that he couldn't go. Because everybody would be signing out to go. Like they had attacked our territory, they attacked us and the Japanese. That was the only time since 1812 we'd been attacked on our soil. But that was a whole different time period. It was a trauma. The lasting consequences of a loss are not talked about enough.
