Do You Have a Strategy for Multiplication?

An ideally, some kind of mechanism through which more practice can be devoted to the ones that aren't quite right. One way i've seen that done really nicely in a classroom is set of flash cards that relate to multiplication facts. You just cycle through that for three or four minutes, and then you switch. There's no big test or anything on the lines. It's just a chance to o practice. I have seen children who will tell me that they hate multiplication tables just become expert at them from coming in out of the cold during play time to play. And so ye, it was often the winter where kids got good a multiplication and division facts and improved their reading.
