"I think it's the greatest skill that I've ever. One recognized as a skill and two made a very conscious effort to develop is creating space between things that are happening and my reaction to them," he says. "What we really want to do is give yourself that quarter of a second, maybe half a second if you're really lucky and just say like, yeah, I'm not going to react."
