Feelings Integers Are Better at Predicting Desperation
Feelings integers are better at predicting get me out of here action. So something like switching jobs, going to the hospital, moving, leaving a partner. They're more predictive than socioeconomic variables such as income or marital status. The psychology community got really annoyed by this idea that we can test what people are feeling using well-validated metrics since 1920s.
