The Memory B Cells in the SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine
When you drive immune cells, B cells through a germinal center, some of the cells become plasma cells and go straight away to start secreting into it. These are called memory B cells. And if you see the sandogen again, they are very good at expanding and making plasma cells again, very efficiently. This is sort of, you know, part of the cellular component of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine response that people talk about. There's the antuase you have in serum, but there's also the cells that are ready to respond again if you get infected again.
