Women tend to have a higher rate of heat illness, especially in that high hormone phase. If you've had any rhabdo or heat illness, then the drink to thirst isn't appropriate either. Strength training is a huge bonus for bone strength and osteoporosis prevention. A lot of women are deficient in vitamin D, especially down here in New Zealand.
