Using the PMC as a Tool?

Use the PMC as a tool and realize it's upsides and downsides. Use it in the way that you feel best serves your purposes. Can I do all of this in Excel if I'm nerdy enough? You could probably do it in, like, Python. How proprietary are these metrics? We haven't done any summary on listener questions yet.
