i wrote an internet relay client for the acon archimedes. This is a fully windowed system, right ynow. You're interacting with as clip boards. I tried to write some games as a game called blub tt. There's a vidio around somewhere. i took the very sensible approach of writing an inte relay chackline in straight assembly. It was before like virtual memory, before like process separation.
