How to Deal With Triggers
Knowing your triggers is the first step in being able to address them. Triggers are anything that prompt a rewarding or survival response. Touch, for example, can be a trigger when you touch a hot stove. A smell that reminds you of fall is a trigger for. Smells. Being at the dentist is an anxiety trigger for some people. For others, it's enthusiasm and they're really excited about the possibilities.
