Is Your Partner Willing to Put the Bins Out?
Nudge is the idea that language can be used to push people in a positive or negative way. In one study, it was shown that when you ask someone if they're willing to do something then they are more likely to say yes. And i think it's very interesting the sort of natural way in which we are shaped by language all the time. I've also shown that if you ask someone who has previously resisted doing an activity and asks them if they would like to do it, than they will most likely say yes. So asking some onet to speak rather than talk, is doing something. It's its sort of tilting the the outcome in some way.
