In the early days, N could not have afforded to pay for proper studio time. Now we are so much in the habit of whittling away things and giving ourselves time to experiment. We might spend five months making a record. And that's not to say we're gong to be in there from ten to eight every day,. But that might mean three or four days a week of really getting in there and trying things. If we ever do just like a thrashy band rock record, maybe. But then i'd love to record a thrashY rock record, so we should just do it in our place.
