The Dangers of Early Stage Companies
At the earliest stage of a company, the whole objective is to get the thing off the ground and into the world. And if they've done that well, they've solved a problem that lots of people have already and are kind of waiting for a solution to come along. That's what I call pre-existing demand. It's that sort of latent group of people out there in the market who have the problem that you're solving. If you put the right solution in front of them, they'll go, thank you, I've been looking for that for some time. Yes, I'll buy that.
