The Complexity of Compromise Rules

Every year, every two years, they play a something called compromise rules against the best players in Ireland. In Australian rules, you can actually rugby tackle people. The issue with this compromise rules game was because there wasn't that much at stake, they ended up for many, many years, absolutely beating the shit out of each other. And I think we started to see early retirements. A lot of our, we definitely start to see a lot of early retirements from Gaelic football and Harling. We're starting to value being able to cover ground again and be able to change direction rather than just trying to bash into people.
