What Is LDL Cholesterol?

The first important distinction that needs to be made is that something like LDL cholesterol relates to the cholesterol content within a certain particle that we call a lipoprotein. And so already now we have a few different branches that we should maybe highlight for people to keep track of, but I don't know if there's any particular points we need to hammer on. The main kind of additional point is with the distinction between LDL and HDL as lipoproteins, I think the best way for listeners to conceptualize the importance of the difference is each of these as forward cholesterol transport and reverse cholesterol transport.
