Milo: I think that ultimately because length and work or a four-anger motion in some cases leads to seemingly reasonably uniform hypertrophy across the whole muscle. So generally, I'm not sure how much of a use I see for shortened partials is a means of addressing more proximal hypertrophy or proximal weakness in a muscle group.
