The Effects of Jumping on Patellar Tendon Pathology

There was also a study on a multi sport athlete having less incidence of patello femoral and patellar tendon pain. So even though change of direction and jumping is part of that and part of the tendon loaded, it seems that if you do less of it, you are less vulnerable. Even though the load might be less, it might be confounded by how much load they do. In football, it tends to be a little bit less.
