Bass Guitarists - Is That Guitarist a Guitarist?

I've never really played guitar seriously, so my answers for the guitarist would be a little bit more basic. For bass players, I was a big fan of Cliff Burton of Metallica. John M. Young from Dream Theater two is sick. Kevin mentioned Ingvee Momstine too. He actually has a lot of stuff that is awesome to listen to.
