The Inverse Relationship Between Intensity and Volume
The number one mistake people make is they think that they can keep all things high. They have this mindset of everything and training needs to get harder. Maintenance doesn't take a lot of volume. Maintaining strength could be a couple sets of your close to your max weight. And that's enough to maintain what you build. Don't rest on the deadlift or power clean, don't do any heavy squatting at all. You're building all the qualities simultaneously. The research would probably show that overall that is the best. But there's a lot of different ways to do it.
