Rapamycin - What Are the Risks?

Rapamycin does not have acute toxicity. There was a case report of somebody who tried to commit suicide by taking more than 100 milligrams of rapamycin and the only thing they got was high triglycerides. So it's not going to be acutely toxic, but certainly if you get a very severe viral or bacterial infection, that could kill you. Increased mouth source was the only negative side effect over a three month period that was higher in the rapamycin group than in the non-rapamycin group.
