Spending Less Time in the Car

The whole population spends 26 fewer minutes per day on something, on average. We spent 19 more minutes watching television and ten more minutes using computers for leisure and games. So much for the idea that we would do all sorts of productive things if we spent less time in the car. Screens are the easiest form of entertainment, so when extra time appeared, screen time gobbled up those minutes.
